This basic system will provide fundamental understanding of how a turbo compressor behaves.
The open-loop system consists of a single stage compressor feeding air from an infinite volume (e.g. the atmosphere) into a defined volume.Via an adjustable valve the air will leave this volume to an outlet with predefined conditions.
Change the input values and have a look at the compressor's dashboard! See what happens, when you fully close the valve or the inlet pressure is increased.
Single Stage Compressor with Motor
The general setup of this system is identical to the basic one. A single stage compressor feeds air from an inlet into a defined volume. Via an adjustable valve the air will leave this volume to an outlet with predefined conditions.
In addition to the basic system, this case offers the abillity to change the properties of the motor. It lets you start and stop the electric driver and the mechanical properties can be changed as well.
